ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Jason Frank was born in New York, New York and split his childhood between New York and
New Jersey. He has a twin sister, Carly and a younger brother, Michael.

Jason graduated from Robert Morris University in 2017 as Class President, earning Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Journalism. He is currently working on his Law Degree at American University.

Jason grew up in a sports family and excelled as a three-sport athlete in taekwondo, basketball, and baseball.

Jason qualified for Taekwondo Nationals 3 out of his 4 years in High School and won a National Championship/Gold Medal while fighting in the bantamweight division in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He also won two bronze medals in Florida in the span of two years. Jason also won Grand Champion in the state of Virginia in January of 2020.

Jason excelled as a combo guard and defensive specialist on the basketball court, while thriving as starting catcher on the Diamond.

Jason has spent time working for the Pittsburgh Police Department and in Quantico, VA as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for the United States Marine Corps.

Jason took over as Saint Michael’s Head Basketball Coach in June of 2020 and was appointed the position of Athletic Director in the spring of 2021. Since taking over the basketball program, Coach Frank has amassed a 15-5 record, including an 11-4 season in 2021, which was good for the best season in program history.

Jason has been coaching basketball since the age of 18, where he started out as a personal trainer. He also founded his own AAU program while in New Jersey, and traveled up and down the east coast competing at various tournaments. Coach Frank’s goal is to ensure each student- athlete is a respectful, faithful young man who has a plan after high school and beyond.

Currently, Jason is a coach for one of the premier AAU programs in Virginia, the Fredericksburg Area Basketball Organization.
Coach Frank helped expand our sports teams, playing a pivotal role in bringing back Girls Volleyball and Girls Basketball this past school year.

His goal is to grow all of Saint Michael’s Athletic Programs into the best versions they can possibly be. Coach Frank is taking over as Head Baseball Coach entering the 2022-2023 school year and is thrilled about the future of our baseball program.
